The first blood drive of the year will take place on Dec. 4-5.  You must be 16 or older to donate.  Please see your science teacher or Mrs. Dahl in 5-108 to sign up.

 

Next Monday, November 19th, is the deadline for dropping an honors OPTION without penalty. After that date, students will not be transferred back to the non-honors section. Drop forms are available in guidance.

 

Today Flapdoodle’s is donating 25% of your total purchase to the JM Band when you mention us. Support the JM band program and get ice cream!

JM Gives Sign ups this week during all lunches for Paranoia, 3x3 basketball and powerpuff.

 

Calling all seniors! We need elves for this year’s JM Gives to Christmas Anonymous. If you’re a senior and interested in being an elf, sign up and pay the $2 registration fee next Monday and Tuesday in order to have the chance to become an elf!

 

CSTF will be having a meeting tomorrow, Friday, at 7:05 in Mr. Rietveld’s room.

Did someone say waffles? Hey JM! It’s that time of year again for the 6th annual All You Can Eat Waffle Feed & 5K! Join us this Saturday, November 17th from 8am-12Noon for All You Can Eat Dad’s Belgian Waffles. $10 for Adults, $7 for Ages 11-18, & $5 for 10 & Under. Registration for the 5K begins at 8:30 with the race promptly starting at 9am. Help us get JM Gives off to a great start by joining us a week from tomorrow- Remember! It’s for the kids!

The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test) will be given tomorrow, Thursday, November 15 beginning 1st hour.  Sign up in the counseling office.

CSTF members interested in meeting about our JM Gives fundraiser please meet in room 2-203, Ms. Tweed’s room, at 7:00 Wednesday morning.  That’s tomorrow!  We will make a plan to begin production of our awesome product.

Model U.N. meets today immediately after school in room 3-210.  We will conduct the second half of our simulation regarding the situation in Yemen.  If you’ve attended model U.N. previously, come ready to argue on behalf of your nation.  If you have not, please come watch for a while and see how Model U.N. works.  Remember, that’s Luedtke’s room—3-210—right after school today.

Join Rochester FFA at 7:15 tomorrow morning in Mrs. Kapper’s room (5-G12). It is our second meeting of the year and everyone is welcome! No prior knowledge is required; donuts and orange juice will be served. Ask JM students Renae Moger or Kendra Birka if you have any questions.

Get ready for JM Gives by getting your squad together to play 3v3 basketball during your lunch. Sign-ups are next week during all lunches. It’s just $25 per team (That’s just $8/person). Remember - It’s for the kids. Teams can be a mix of boys and girls from all grades. Winners will receive a prize and bragging rights!

Theatre JM presented their first performance of the hilarious heartfelt musical "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!” last evening. Performances continue tonight @ 7PM and tomorrow @ 2:00 & 7:00
