I grew up about 20 miles from Rochester on a farm near Potsdam and graduated from Elgin-Millville High School in 1992. In 1997, I graduated from Concordia - St. Paul with a degree in secondary science education. My first teaching job was at Winona Cotter where I taught physical science and geology. I came to the Rochester School District in 2002 and have taught at all 3 high schools at some point in both physical sciences and life sciences. This year will be my 14th year at JM, and my 21st year in all as a teacher.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. I love to travel, play volleyball, and scrapbook.
